but after that, some of us guys went to Settlers. reason being...
1. celebrate Liwen's Bdae!!!
2. chill out dude!!!
the peeps included me, Liwen, her sister, Darryl, Sheng Wei, Melissa, Ben and Teck Sheng. Lijing and Camille couldnt make it, and i only knew today that Sebas couldnt make it...lol
anyway we also asked CV peeps along and that includes Adeline, Jiecao and Jing Xiang! they are damn cool peeps! lol
ade and jiecao reach first and they bought a cake for liwen. the rest of us, we rushed down after rehearsals, some i ferried, the rest took a cab.
we played Cranium! which involves acting, drawing, sculpting and all the funny stuffs involved! we had so much fun...and im sad to announce that the leading team was the Team of Crotchies, which included Mel, Ben and SW...lOl....poor me and Darryl were lagging behind...but hey! all 3 teams had 3 ppl but i had only Darryl and Darryl had only me!!! SAD!!! lol
we played till 11 then the cake was brought out and we sang happy bdae to Liwen and her sis, who shares the same bdirth 7 years apart! thats incredible isnt it?
then we played abit more and the rest started leaving, and i sent the bdae girls, SW and JC home...
really had fun with the TT peeps!
most prob next week we are going again! after our event, where we can finally let our hair down and chill!!!
also, dont think i forget my beloved Tennis OG!!! i will bring u all there to chill one of these days too!!!!

first up, i pick them (Kel and Russ) up from Hyatt Hotel...stupid lar!!! choose such a place...and they were waiting at some obscure corner!!! my side mirror knocked a taxi's side mirror lar....lOl
then russ blindfolded kel....but thx to his intelligence....kel knew we were heading to paragon...
we waited for Josiah...then went to Lawry's for dinner....
OMG....the ambience was fantastic! service was absolute! but of coz....for the price they are asking for, thats why its like that...and at such a place, we had to wear damn gentlemanly and we were in like pants, shirt and shoes...and others were in like jeans...lol...but nvm lar...smart casual...its either smart or casual
all of us ate salad...of coz i didnt finish mine...
my main course i had salmon. russ had beef sirloin cooked in pastry and the other 2 had rack lamb....kel ordered a main course coz he wanted to drink the wine...which later comes with dessert and tea....
and, the waiters and waitress came out after our meal, singing happy bdae to kel...lol...it was damn hilarious. coz before that, we saw it happened to another table of diners and kel was objecting! he was saying how embarrassing it would be! but the rest of us wanted it coz it will be so cool and funny...lol
after dinner, we went down to take pics with the Xmas trees...man...do we have no childhood? lol
then we went back to my car and we drove down to Minds Cafe and stayed there till 2am playing lots of games....my fingers hurt lar!!!! thx to that stupid "u-gotta-be-fast-to-press-the-bell-and-get-all-the-cards" game......*grumbles*
then i sent them home and reached home myself at near 4am...
tiring but it was worth it....best frens are priceless :)

first in church, I was singing for choir solo...and i have had a bad throat for 2 weeks...so worried i couldnt make it...but i pulled thru...thank god for that!
then my parents sent me back and headed in m'sia...coz a grand aunt passed away so they had to attend the wake....
then i took a short nap as the rest of the day will be super hectic...coz TT peeps coming to my place to do our banner!!!
Sheng Wei (Crotchie) came first and while waiting, we played a little of WoW. then Teck Sheng came and we just used to comm....
then, Liwen called us and asked who wanted dinner coz she can buy...so SW and I placed our orders...then Darryl came and we informed him about it....he was like ::
"huh? i thought we can order pizza or something..."
then Liwen came and we continued waiting...*it was 6+ by then...*
FINALLY!!! the most impt ppl came!!! why impt? coz they had the stuff which we need...tha cloth and paints...lol
so we did some discussion and then pasted VIVACE on the cloth...then Lijing came and we headed down to do the spray painting job!
while doing it, Darryl called for pizza....and we painted...damn fun! we were laughing and i would say, it was a real bonding session! not to say we didnt have any bonding before, but this further reinforced our frenship!
then we took off the words and at first...all was..."uhm...thats it?"
bu after awhile, we realised it looks fabulous....Liwen took a pic of it on her cam phone and it looks damn nice and 3D in the pic! and all was like "WOW!"....lol
then pizza came at 10.30...from 10 onwards, we keep calling them...got half a mind to cancel coz they taking so long! but keep putting us on hold! finally picked up, but the girl doesnt know anything, so proposed to get manager to call me back...but manager didnt! by then...pizza has arrived and we complained to delivery guy, who like apologized one and *shush*
which reminded me...gotta go complain
then while they enjoying the dinner...i went to pick a fren over to do soem art stuff...on the way here, saw some of the guys taking Ben's car back...and me and my fren headed home...
did art till 12+ then headed to NUS to have prata...
i think i saw Kim....hmm...gotta confirm w Kel who is in M'sia w Russ....
then headed home...i was driving...lol...my driving skills has improved!
anyone wanna go out?!?!
anyway, TT peeps! im proud of the banner and im proud of u all! continue to work towards the end w a positive attitude!!!

You have been warned :: DO NOT CONTINUE if you have not seen the acclaimed movie, The Prestige. SPOILER ahead.
Cheers to Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale in this movie....never though much of Hugh before...didnt like Wolverine so naturally didnt like him...lOl...but he did fantastically in this movie.
The movie starts with the mid-present. It always alternates between the present, the past and wat i termed the mid-present, which was the main plot that started off the entire storyline, death of Hugh.
Generally, this movie is about 2 aspiring magicians. From friendly rivalry to tough competition, ultimately, no one seems to win. The supposed winner, Christian, was a loser too for he lost many things. The one (Hugh) that seemed to have lost everything, actually gained something before he died...(oops...told u it was a spoiler)
both competed with each other in terms of tricks...Hugh was always trying to copy...but Bale seemed to always have a way to get back..thus, they always appear in each other's main event, screwing it up, causing the person to fall into the pits.
the main trick...the Transported Man...caused a great intense rivalry between them 2...
In the end...it seemed Hugh got the upper hand with his Tesla machine, thats transports him literally....
but actually, every time Hugh uses his "machine", he creates a clone of himself, which he destroys....he never wanted this to happen. he used it as a trick to get Bale in jail and did a diary where he wrote "As you read this, I will know you are reading it in jail, awaiting your death." which made Bale feels that Hugh could see the future. Hugh lost his wife in an accident, whom he blamed Bale. But Bale didnt know which knot his other twin did that caused the death...and this leads to Hugh always asking him "Which knot did you tie?" to which Bale answered "I dont know...."
"I never know when I am the one in the box (hidden), or the one in the prestige."
but Bale's was no trick, invention or watsoever...it was simply genetics. he had a twin. to achieve their magical dreams, one twin sacrificed 2 of his fingers to follow his other twin (who earlier on lost 2 of his fingers in an act. both had to live "half-lives", alternating everyday. One who really loved his wife, Sarah, the other who loved the mistress, Olivia (Scarlet Johanssen). but both ladies thought one was the other. in the end, the wife hanged herself for feeling that her husband cheated on her.
"I loved Sarah. But it was also the other I that loved Olivia."
lots of intense mystery, thrilling plot and great acting....go watch it....the movie brings in lots of social issues :: cloning, marriages, fame, backstab, rivalry, friendship, corporate trickery...etc
All Hugh wanted was love and be in the prestige. In the end, I felt he was the one that truly understood wat was being a magician was all about. As his character said, or rather, what I think he said (i cant remember word by word can I?!?!) ::
"You never knew what it was to be. It was to see the satisfaction on the audience's face that makes you feel you have done it, by trick, real magic or illusion"
All Bale wanted was to come up with new tricks to wow the people. And it was wrong for others to term that his heart and mind was never with his family...when Bale is actually 2.
so...go watch this movie....about 2hrs and 30mins...worthed every cent u pay....
